Workplace Violence and Bullying Awareness:
Join us for a comprehensive training course on Workplace Violence and Bullying Awareness tailored specifically for dental offices. Active Shooter Safety:
This course will simplify OSHA regulations and teach participants how to be in compliance. Also covered are the latest OSHA requirements concerning injury and illness prevention, emergency safety (fire, active shooter), and electrical safety . A must for everyone in the dental office. Administrative staff are required to complete OSHA training each year. This program was designed to satisfy that requirement.

Course Objectives: 

• Understand the definition and various forms of workplace violence and bullying.
• Recognize warning signs and risk factors associated with workplace violence and bullying in dental settings.
• Comprehend federal and state regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws, related to workplace violence and bullying.
• Identify root causes and contributing factors to workplace violence and bullying behavior.
• Implement preventive measures and control measures to mitigate workplace violence risks.
• Develop clear protocols for responding to incidents of workplace violence and bullying.
• Understand the importance of active shooter preparedness in healthcare settings recognize warning signs, and acquire response strategies, including the "Run, Hide, Fight" concept, to safeguard patients and staff.
