The course will review the State Board’s recordkeeping rules including common documentation oversights, explain the Board’s investigatory process, and offer practical advice for mitigating risk in your practice.

• Application of the Abandonment Rule when dismissing a patient from your practice
• Self-Reporting Obligations – patient hospitalization and death
• Responding to a Board complaint and the Board’s investigatory process
